What is Arthritis?
Arthritis is a painful disease where the muscles, ligaments and cartilages become inflamed and cause severe pain in the affected joints. Hence the movement of the joints gets restricted. RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS is a very severe case of this type of disease.

What are the causes of Arthritis?
There are several causes for this disease:

  • Shock
  • Injury
  • Weak digestion
  • Constipation problem
  • Excessive exposure to cold and dampness
  • Bad habits of over-eating
  • Lack of physical exercise and activities
  • Too much of stress
  • Fatigue
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Hereditary factors

What are the symptoms of Arthritis?

  • Arthritis causes severe pain and stiffness in the joints especially in windy, cool and damp weather.
  • It can lead to severe Anemia
  • This condition can restrict your movement and lead to deformed hands and feet.
  • There is severe inflammation of ligaments, muscles and cartilage.

Home Remedy to combat this disease

  • Take a mixture of 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and honey, mixed in a cup of warm water. Drink it twice a day on a daily basis.
  • Alfalfa tea is a very good remedy for curing this disease.
  • Mix half a teaspoon of turmeric powder with warm water. Drink it early in the morning.
  • You can rub and massage the aching joints with hot vinegar to get a good relief.
  • Make a mixture of 2 teaspoonfuls of apple cidar vinegar and honey with warm water and drink it 1to 2 times daily. This will help you to fight this disease.
  • Apply a paste of sandalwood powder (1 teaspoonful) with water and massage it onto the affected parts .It will give you a cooling effect and a better relief from pain.
  • A very effective process is to take Guggulu (1/2 teaspoonful) with warm water after taking meals.
  • Also try to have a mixture of 1tablespoon of cod liver oil added to the juice of orange. Whip and drink the mixture before you go to sleep.
  • Eat lots of Vegetable juices and soups. Eat plenty of cooked vegetables like squash, pumpkin etc.
  • Coconut water and coconut milk is a very good remedial measure.
  • Juices of carrot, beet cucumber are also very much helpful in fighting this disease.
  • Have 1 raw garlic every day. Or you can fry this clove in ghee or Castor oil and have it before your meal daily.
