  • Eat spinach as it contains carotenes, which is essential for eye tissues and retina. It may help reverse quite a few eye conditions.
  • Soak a few almonds in water for overnight and eat it every morning. This helps improve vision and stabilize eye power.
  • In case of swelling of eye or inflamed eye, finely grate potato and spread it on a cloth and apply on the external part of the eye.
  • Dip cotton in cucumber juice or rose water and apply on eyes for 5 to 10 minutes. This will provide a relaxed feeling to eyes.
  • For conjunctivitis mix 1 spoon of Oregon grape root and 2 spoons of chamomile flowers in 2 cups of boiling water. After letting it cool down, strain and use the water to wash eyes with.
